Strategic Implementation Advising
Engineering and implementation
SIA carries out engineering and implementation work in program delivery, operational processes, and software integration. We examine the work with the people responsible for it and agree what we can take on.
The scope includes the intended result, responsibilities, and how the result will be checked in use. Our understanding develops as the work proceeds. We review new findings with the people involved.
Learning
Lessons on acting under uncertainty, checking explanations, sustaining work, understanding an offer’s economics and choosing where to focus. Each idea has a worked example and a question you can take into your own work.
Where we contribute
Program delivery
We identify dependencies among requirements, interfaces, schedules, and decisions, resolve coordination problems, and implement agreed changes.
Operations and tools
We review approval processes, handoffs, and repeated data entry with the people responsible for the work, then revise the processes and tools within the agreed scope.
Project Cafecito
Our technology research arm develops software and reusable tools with Soumit Salman Rahman. Current work includes information retrieval, market intelligence, and healthcare administration.
